Sheri Epstein, the assistant to KPFK General Manager Eva Georgia, will file suit this week in Los Angeles Superior Court alleging race and disability discrimination and retaliation, say lawyers for Epstein and four other Pacifica employees nationally who have filed actions. Epstein will apparently contend she was "refused reasonable accommodations for her disability, subjected to termination and retaliation when she complained of race and disability discrimination and unpaid overtime." Earlier at KPFK, News Director Molly Paige filed suit against Georgia and Pacifica, alleging sexual and racial harassment and retaliation. Georgia denied her charges and I assume plans to fight the new accusation.
