LABJ: Arnold, lap dances, Charles Phoenix

Schwarzenegger the candidate, strip clubs trying to save lap dancing and the pop icon collections of author Charles Phoenix are among the free stories on the Los Angeles Business Journal website this week. Also in the newspaper is a story on the decline in feature film production in Los Angeles and the bad news that indicates for jobs and the economy. This is half of the equation in what I expect to erupt into a major L.A. issue. The other half is represented by this Jessica Garrison story in the L.A. Times about rising neighborhood upset over disruptive movie and TV location crews: "'I bought a house on a residential street,' Van Nuys resident Joe Montoya complained to the City Council. 'I didn't buy on a back lot.'"
