Ron Fineman ailing, blog says

Postings to Ron Fineman's On the Record, which covers the local TV newsrooms closer than anyone, have slowed because Fineman is battling cancer, writes Michael Schneider, the TV editor at Variety, on his blog Franklin Avenue. Fineman is a pay site, $25 a year, that reports on feuds, personnel moves, screwups and gossip at the local stations. He offers a 10-day free trial if you deposit the cash with PayPal.
