Newhan and Dodgers say no deal yet

The Dodgers are still talking with Malcolm Glazer about buying the team, but there has been no change in status for several weeks, sources tell L.A. Times baseball writer Ross Newhan and business reporter Sallie Hofmeister. Glazer will remain the front runner until the complicated negotiations either go through or die, they say -- even though some baseball owners feel the Glazer bid is already comatose. The Dodgers also denied there is any deal. CBS Sportsline reported yesterday that Glazer and the Dodgers had reached an agreement.
