The Church of Scientology owes $94,625 in back taxes on its Hollywood properties, the second time in recent years it has fallen behind, reports Kevin Butler in the L.A. Independent. He quotes a church spokeswoman:
"It’s strictly a question of priorities. It’s not a protest or anything like that.”
