In praise of the busblog

Tony Pierce is singled out for writing "L.A.'s most entertaining Web log" in the graphic that runs with James Verini's story on Los Angeles-centric websites in today's LAT Weekend Calendar. The main piece talks with Tony and leads with Craig Newmark of Craigslist. Stella's Search for Sanity, a fictional blog that grew out of a short film that Solange Castro Belcher wrote last year, also gets a good mention. The story cites Kausfiles, LABlogs, George Wolfe's LaLaTimes, the Volokh Conspiracy and L.A. Observed among other Los Angeles-based sites. My question is, how did they get in here to draw me for the cover image?
