The magazine was purchased for $55 million this afternoon by Bruce Wasserstein, chairman of investment bank Lazard, says AdAge.com. Emmis (Los Angeles magazine) and the Tribune Co. (L.A. Times) had shown some early interest but didn't bid. (Press release via Romenesko)
