Novelist dies in Mexico City
PEN USA has extended the entry deadline for this year's Literary Awards in journalism, drama, teleplay and screenplay until February 23. The competition is for writers who live west of the Mississippi River. Winners will get their awards (and $1,000) at a dinner in Los Angeles later this year. Information and entry forms are at the PEN website.
