Easterbrook quits blog

Yesterday's final entry of Gregg Easterbook's blog sucked up, as he puts it, to everybody from George W. Bush to John Kerry to the New York Times.

As of today, Easterblogg folds its tent and steals off into the desert. More book-writing beckons, plus I'll resume my previous duties as a writer for the print edition of The New Republic, while contributing a weekly column to the website. ("In the future, everyone will be a columnist for 15 minutes.")
