Kerry postpones Disney Hall funder

Guests who were planning to attend Monday's John Kerry campaign fundraiser at the Walt Disney Hall have been emailed and called alerting them the event is off. Kerry is suspending campaign activities in honor of Ronald Reagan. Barbra Streisand, Billy Crystal and others had been scheduled to perform to raise money for Kerry's campaign and the Democratic National Committee. The event will be rescheduled.

Added: The Chicago Tribune says Kerry will attend his daughter Alexandra's graduation from AFI here on Wednesday. A New York fundraising concert scheduled for Thursday with Bette Midler, Jon Bon Jovi and James Taylor has also been postponed.
