Psst, Arnold was in Idaho

Dan Weintraub reports on his California Insider blog that Gov. Schwarzenegger has returned from a short getaway to an undisclosed location. The reason the locale was kept secret, he says, is that when the governor and his family vacationed in Hawaii last month, Peter Nicholas of the Times showed up and "scored a provocative one-on-one interview" with Arnold. The secrecy rationale holds that since Schwarzenegger is a private citizen when out of state, and all powers rest with Lt. Gov. Cruz Bustamante, he is entitled to his privacy. In any case, Weintraub can now reveal that Schwarzenegger spent the weekend at his retreat in Sun Valley.
