Deep Throat: Bush I?

Colleen Cason, the columnist for the Ventura County Star, nominates a new candidate for Deep Throat, Bob Woodward's secret inside source during the Watergate investigation into the crimes of the Nixon White House. She speculates it is George Bush the first, who at the time was chairman of the Republican National Committee. Her evidence is weak to nonexistent, but there it is.

Also up the coast: Oxnard welcomed the Dallas Cowboys to training camp Thursday, but also is the only city to outlaw Cowboys garb on the street.
