L.A.'s a hot dog town

Now there's a blog just for scouting out the best frankfurters around. The Hot Dog Spot is mildly Valley centric, though its team of tubesteak seekers apparently hasn't gotten yet to my personal favorite Cupid's. Top ratings so far belong to Skooby's in Hollywood and the Wiener Factory in Sherman Oaks, "4½ dogs" each. Nathan's Famous gets a middle-of-the-pack "3 dogs," which I mention only because I just visited the Coney Island mother ship and came away unimpressed, except for the scenery. Pink's trails them all at 1½. (Via the newly redesigned LA Blogs.com)
