Regarding Beverly Theater

In September I posted about plans for razing the vaguely Moroccan-themed Beverly Theater and about the Art Deco office building next door, originally California Bank. I included a so-so photo, but just found on the fun website YesterdayLA a 1964-ish postcard that displays both buildings prominently (with Dr. Strangelove playing at the theater). That's Wilshire Boulevard in the foreground, before the Beverly Hills office boom. Check it out. (Pointer to YesterdayLA from LAVoice.org.)
