It's been awhile since I checked in on Variety's experiment with free weblogs outside the trade's online subscriber wall. The newest, called Stylephile (spotted at Franklin Avenue), is about shopping and store openings. It joins two remaining blogs on the comic book industry and electronic gaming. Back in March Variety dropped its porn industry blog, and I don't know when the previous ones on the lives of actors and press releases received at Variety were yanked.
