Defamer ID'd **

Lloyd Grove, the New York Daily News gossiper, reported this morning (followed by an LA.com item) that the December issue of Esquire will unmask the anonymous blogger Defamer as Mark Lisanti. His Hollywood credits on IMDB.com consist of one entry as assistant to the writer on the TV series "Bram and Alice." Actually, Grove (but not Esquire, as it turns out) misspells it Listani, but Alexandra at LA.com writes that she tracked down the blogger under the correct spelling: "He told us he rarely leaves the house, and when he does 'people tend to stare at the hump from being a hunchbacked, blogging hermit.'"

** Who knew?: Lisanti tells all, "after months of relatively pointless anonymity." He says he got the Defamer gig off his anony-blogging at Bunsen.tv. Also, it turns out the Defamer went to college with BoifromTroy and that he's a member of the Hall of Fame at Sports By Brooks, where they know him as a big Yankees fan at the sports-and-babes website's events held in local bars. Here is a pic of Lisanti with some SbB girls.

LA.com also has an item today on Merle Ginsberg mildly dissing Paris Hilton, which is interesting only because she co-wrote Hilton's recent book.
