Legal blotter

Michael Eisner began his testimony in the Disney shareholder lawsuit in Delaware, prompting recollections of his calling Jeffrey Katzenberg "the little midget" under questioning five years ago. This time, Eisner will be asked to explain why he called Michael Ovitz "a psychopath" yet still paid him $140 million to leave Disney. And, screenwriter and blogger Roger Avary has sued Microsoft alleging the company stole his idea for a video game. He plans to chronicle the suit's progress at a new blog called Justice is Not Blind.
