Maria's museum

California First Lady Maria Shriver has dropped her push to have the state history museum in Sacramento reinvented as a women's museum. It will remain devoted to California history. No word on whether the three museum board members who quit in protest of her meddling will return. She gets credit, however, for saving the museum from going under.
