Down in Hawthorne, the site of the home where Brian, Dennis and Carl Wilson lived when they began the Beach Boys has been designated California Historical Landmark #1041. The home was torn down to make way for the Century Freeway, so the plaque will be placed where 119th Street dead ends into the freeway sound wall. The big day is May 20, the Daily Breeze reports today.
