Magazines

Vanity Fair website

The magazine has put up a site at VanityFair.com with the table of contents and a couple of stories from the print issue, the Fanfair calendar, party pictures, a link to James Wolcott's blog and some other content. Currently up is a slide show of Helmut Newton photos called "Master Provocateur." Under Daily Dose there is a smattering of links to websites and blogs the editors think will interest VF readers, including locally the L.A. Times, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, LA Weekly, AMPAS, BoingBoing, LA.com and Hit & Run.

Also: Los Angeles magazine has unveiled a website redesign that appears on the surface to add links to current stories, but most of the links just open to a page that says buy the print magazine. There's an archives link as well, but nothing much there as yet.
