KTLA picks a weatherman

Beth Sweeney won the popular vote (10,399 to 8568), but at the conclusion of The Audition channel 5's Supreme Court of judges tapped Ross King as the new weatherman on the "News at Ten." The release says:

King comes to KTLA with a wide range of television, radio, film and theatrical experience in Britain and the United States. King is a familiar face on British television where he was the series lead on many series including the BBC's "The Ross King Show." In the United States King was a special correspondent for Fox's "American Juniors." On the big screen, he appeared in "The Day After Tomorrow" and "Half Past Dead," among others. In London he has appeared on stage many times including The Palladium Theatre and had a lead role in the 25th anniversary tour of "The Rocky Horror Show." On the radio King broadcasts live from Los Angeles to Scotland via Radio Clyde.

King starts Monday.
