Its website says that Our Weekly will launch in January "dedicated to the African American communities in Los Angeles." Based on Western Avenue in South L.A., it will circulate free on Thursdays in Ladera, Baldwin Hills, Windsor Hills, LaFayette Park Square, North Inglewood, View Park, Leimert Park, Mid-City & greater Los Angeles. Natalie Cole is owner and CEO, and the release states that the "management team is composed of former senior managers from The Los Angeles Times, L.A. Weekly, L.A. Daily News, The Los Angeles Wave and Recycler Classifieds."
