WoHi is the new Westwood

The website LA.com has been based on Wilshire Boulevard in Westwood, somewhat close to the trendy shops, clubs and restaurants that its writers frequent. But this week, they and their blogs, LA.comfidential and ClothesHoarse, are moving to more suburban digs. As part of the restructuring that began in September with a round of layoffs, LA.com is moving in with the Daily News on Oxnard Street in Woodland Hills. They already share content, and last Sunday's DN carried a front-page refer to the website. Both are part of the Singleton MediaNews Group empire.
