Jessica Wu: Tuesday on "Airtalk," Larry Mantle talks with the director of In the Realm of the Unreal. KPCC, 11:30 a.m.

SPJ Mixer: Richard Garcia, assistant director in charge of the FBI's Los Angeles field office, will have drinks with reporters at the Society of Professional Journalists mixer on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the bar at the Figueroa Hotel.

Media party: New York-based Mediabistro is throwing another of its invitation-only L.A. soirees on January 19 at The Courtyard in West Hollywood.
