Sandra Bullock steps up

The actress donated $1 million to the American Red Cross for tsunami relief efforts in Asia and Africa. She had previously sent a million to the Red Cross after the 9/11 attacks. I don't know if she still lives up above the Chateau Marmont, but if you're looking for the local angle, Bullock is at least an honorary Angeleno today. By the way, the Unicef appeals running gratis here and on other blogs were arranged by Miklos Gaspar and the decent folks at Blogads.
