'Distinction' seeks an M.E.

On the jobs board at Mediabistro:

Distinction, an upscale lifestyle magazine for Southern California, is seeking an experienced managing editor to run day-to-day editorial operations. We’re looking for a creative person full of ideas and initiative who knows how to crack the whip when necessary. This highly organized editor will manage schedules and oversee the shipping of each page, copy-edit and proofread, paginate the magazine, and make text corrections on page proofs. Our ideal candidate has an excellent knowledge of QuarkXPress, Words Into Type, and the stylish, smart, and sassy side of Southern California.

It seems that nobody stays very long. Previously: Distinction needs an editor (again), Mag editors on move, Distinction editor.
