That Los Angeles magazine story generally praising Michael Kinsley that I mentioned awhile back is now online. Also up on the Los Angeles website from the February issue are the cover Q-and-A's with Javier Bardem and Laura Linney (where she confesses her favorite old movie is...Slap Shot!) and Patric Kuh's review of Meson G, where the magazine threw a well-attended party for the new issue a couple of weeks back. Meson G is in the attractive old Citrus space on Melrose where Kuh used to cook, and he approached the restaurant full of memories and a bit of baggage.
