George Lopez gets kidney from wife
The comedian who played a bit part in the Los Angeles mayor's race, as a friend and campaigner alongside State Sen. Richard Alarcon, underwent a kidney transplant last week, his publicist said Monday. His wife, Ann Lopez, was the organ donor.
