Regulating blogs

You may be hearing that the San Francisco Board of Supervisors is going to vote on an ordinance that would require election bloggers to register and report expenses, as if they were campaign contributors. But Bay Area independent journalist Chris Nolan reports that may not be what the law would do at all — though she agrees the idea is pretty stupid anyway.
