'Sir, drop the newspaper'

TextDaniel Hunt has discovered one difference between Los Angeles and Northern California. Up there, neighbors will sneak onto your porch and steal your newspaper before you wake up. Hunt and a friend staked out the crime scene with a still camera and video one day and caught the thief in the act. When the older man was busted, "he looked up, dropped it, apologized and proceeded to walk home down the block."
