Sumner is still Mr. Big

Sumner Redstone keeps his place on top of the annual Los Angeles Business Journal guesstimate of wealthiest Angelenos. Kirk Kerkorian held on to #2, but the news is that a woman — Barbara Davis — took over the #3 spot after the death of her husband, Marvin Davis. She is said to be worth $6.4 billion. In addition to backing the wrong horse for mayor, #4 Eli Broad's net worth dropped nine percent since last year's ranking, to $4.8 billion by the LABJ's calculation. The Top 10:

Sumner Redstone, $8.3 billion
Kirk Kerkorian, $8.1 billion
Barbara Davis and family, $6.4 billion
Eli Broad, $4.8 billion
David Murdock, $4.5 billion
Jeffrey Skoll, $4.5 billion
David Geffen, $4.3 billion
Patrick Soon-Shiong, $3.6 billion
Steven F. Udvar-Hazy, $3 billion
Ed Roski Jr., $2.8 billion
