Live from Santa Monica

There's no rest for the politics weary. No sooner is the mayor's race over than the drumbeats begin for the governor's agenda-pushing special election, called for Nov. 8. I'll gin up a fresh and deep list of California politics links soon for the left side. Meanwhile, KCRW's Which Way, L.A.? will go live tonight at 7 p.m. (89.9 FM) with Arnold Schwarzenegger's speech on Corsair Field at Santa Monica College. Warren Olney will direct the analysis in studio with Democratic State Treasurer Phil Angelides as a guest. Eric Roy will report with the protesters outside. By the way, are there any more perfect names to run through Google News than Villaraigosa and Schwarzenegger? No first names required, and the hits are always relevant.
