Feeding the L.A. dark side

The 1947Project, the creative blog trip through a year in L.A. crime culture by Kim Cooper and Nathan Marsak, has thrown in with Rodger Jacobs' 8763 Wonderland to jointly bring their writing to the masses. Those masses who get RSS feeds anyway. The two blogs are pooling their posts in a new feed they call L.A. Noir. Check out the web version or point your RSS reader here. Jacobs also interviews the pair at his site. Meanwhile, Cooper and Marsak and the website I've mentioned about old local restaurants and bars, L.A. Times Machines, are putting on a Sept. 17 gathering at Clearman's Steak 'N Stein Inn in Pico Rivera to talk about "historic LA crime, dining and culture."
