Fire in Nichols Canyon *

FlamesAlan Pavlik at the blog As Seen from Just Above Sunset photographed the brush fire that burned about 25 acres this evening in the Hollywood Hills. Over at Blogging.la, they have been all over it and also wonder why it didn't rate coverage as it happened at LATimes.com. (The Times did post a story at 8:01 p.m. noting containment and an arrest, and misspelling mandatory.) NBC4 had some coverage of the Hollywood fire and one in Pomona.

* Wednesday LAT: It took 170 firefighters and six Times credit lines to bring this baby under control. A homeless guy is blamed for the fire.
