CBS2 blogger dings NBC

ShocknekChannel 2 morning news anchor Kent Shocknek pokes a sharp blog stick at rival NBC for excising rapper Kanye West's remark that "George Bush doesn't care about black people." West delivered the slam during last week's Hurricane Katrina telethon, but it was cut from the West Coast feed before viewers in L.A. heard it.

Shocknek posts: "Too little, too late. Their response just seems lame. Will they do better next time? Doesn't matter: they shouldn't have been caught so flat-footed, this time.....I'm talking about the programmers at the NBC television network: who did you think I was talking about?" West will perform at tomorrow's free NFL Kickoff concert at the Coliseum.
