   • More former press deputies in the Hahn administration have landed jobs. Elizabeth Kaltman is now the communications director for City Council member Wendy Greuel, and Sahar Moridani is director of communications for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Earlier, I noted that Shannon Murphy is now with State Sen. Gil Cedillo.
   • Ron Fineman of the TV website that bears his name will guest on the Mr. KABC show tonight at 10 p.m. on TalkRadio 790.
   • LAPD chief Bill Bratton guests this Sunday at 9 a.m. on NBC4's News Conference.
   • An anonymous flyer circulating in South Los Angeles is calling for "jihad" against the LAPD. No one has taken responsibility.
   • Tim Redmond, executive editor of the San Francisco Bay Guardian, will talk about merger talks involving the LA Weekly on KPFK's Deadline L.A., now on Saturdays at noon.
   • PEN Center USA has extended the deadline for applications to its Emerging Voices program to Sept. 23.
