UCLA Chancellor to step down

Albert Carnesale says today, in a UCLA press release, that he will return to teaching, scholarship and "engagement in public policy issues." His last day as chancellor will be June 30, 2006. He arrived at UCLA from Harvard in 1997. City Elf blogs other recent moves at the top of UC campuses.
