The LA Weekly has posted a web story that Brent Shapiro, the son of defense attorney and author Robert Shapiro, died Monday after taking Ecstasy. He was 24 and a student at USC. Funeral services were held today. (Also reported Wednesday on the New York Post's Page Six.)
