Holiday Inn no more

AngelenoEveryone has seen the circular Holiday Inn pushed right up beside the 405 at Sunset Boulevard. Time to recalibrate. After renovation inside and out, the upscale boutique Hotel Angeleno will open in February, with 209 guest rooms all featuring "Simmons Beautyrest world class felicity pillow top mattress, 300 thread-count Italian cotton linens, fluffy feather duvet, and down-around pillows." It's pushing the proximity to the Getty, wi-fi and the new top floor restaurant and lounge called West. The Angeleno is the first Southern California entry in the Joie de Vivre Hospitality chain that operates 28 hotels in the San Francisco area and Napa Valley.
