Tail o' the Pup next to go *

PupPosters at Chowhound L.A. picked up the news first, added to by Pat Saperstein at Eating L.A. and Franklin Avenue. The California Crazy-style hot dog stand may lose its home on San Vicente above Beverly Boulevard in thirty days, due to development plans for the corner. Tail 'O the Pup moved there in 1985 being displaced by construction of the Sofitel hotel. Roadside America.com says the Pup at its original location can be seen in the 1959 film Daddy-O.
