Last night on "Prime News" Jamie Chambers went on and on about how difficult it was for him to watch a videotape showing a San Bernardino County sheriff's deputy shoot an unarmed suspect in Chino. They didn't have the amateur video to air then (police had apparently confiscated it), but KTLA got it for this morning's show. I haven't seen it, but the AP story certainly raises questions about the shooting. The man who was shot, Elio Carrion, is an Air Force MP who was a passenger in a Corvette that led deputies on a brief chase. When the Chase ended, Carrion obeyed orders to lay down and was being told to get up when the shots were fired. He's in good condition at a hospital in Colton. Nothing on the KTLA website that I can find.
