Free stuff

HatikvahSimon Rutberg's Hatikvah Music International on Fairfax Avenue is closing January 31. Before he goes, Rutberg wants to give hundreds of music cassettes a good home. The store specializes in Yiddish, Klezmer, Sephardic, Ladino, Cantorial and Israeli music, but there's other stuff in there too. It's free for the taking at the store that opened in 1954 as Norty's Music Center. Go by 436 North Fairfax, across from Canter's Deli.
