Local bloggers junket to Amsterdam

Tony Pierce and Brian Flemming are among 25 bloggers—including Ezra Klein, AmericaBlog's John Aravosis and the gossipists at Jossip and Perez Hilton—who have accepted free airfare, five free nights in a five-star hotel and free transport around Amsterdam from Holland.com and Blogads. Each blogger agreed to post a free ad for Holland.com on their blogs for a month and carry a link for a year, but they are not required to blog about how much they enjoy the payola. (But do any of them actually think they were invited because they are cool?) Here's a site about the freebies that Blogads claims makes it all transparent and above-board, and a commentary on The Netherlands 25 from Josh Trevino at the politics website Spot-On.
