Dodgers clubhouse gets quiet *

creditNew manager Grady Little doesn't have many rules for the Dodgers, but he does have one. In a multi-lingual, multi-cultural clubhouse where cliques have been a problem in the past, Little decreed that pre-game music can only be listened to on headphones. "I have never seen a situation where you have 25 players in a room and everybody likes the same music," he tells Tony Jackson of the Daily News. "If you need music to prepare for a game, you can get some of those nice headphones they make now." Clubhouse speakers will be turned on after wins, but not losses.

Little also revealed today that Derek Lowe will probably be the Dodgers' opening day starter. Both items via Rob at 6-4-2. Plus at MLB.com, the Dodgers say they will put names back on uniform jerseys in 2007.

* No-radio days: (Friday 9:30 am) Weekday spring training games will no longer be broadcast on KFWB, delayed or otherwise. They can be heard on the Dodgers website only.
