Injuries piling up

BrazobanThe Dodgers today got word of their worst injury yet this year. Reliever Yhency Brazoban needs elbow reconstruction (the Tommy John procedure) and will miss the rest of this season. About this time next year he'll be allowed to pick up a baseball, then they'll figure out how long before he pitches again. He joins Eric Gagne, Nomar Garciaparra and Jayson Werth on the disabled list; Kenny Lofton came off the list today. For now, Cody "7 RBIs" Ross stays and takes Brazoban's place on the roster.
