Grover nails Jiffy Lube

LogoEarlier this month, NBC4's hidden-camera reporter Joel Grover aired "Is Your Mechanic Cheating?," a two-part series that showed Jiffy Lube mechanics charging for services they didn't perform. In response, this week at least five Jiffy Lubes are closed for "employee retraining," 31 stores are adding videotape cameras and six employees have been terminated. "Also gone is the district manager, Steven Ayoub, who denied his identity when I tried to question him," Grover reports. "This is now the third time in three years that Jiffy Lube told us it was cleaning up its act." Video on the NBC4 website.
