La Opinión in solidarity

La Opinion pageLa Opinión published a symbolic blank page in support of Day Without Immigrants. Here's what the text says on the website page:

We, the workers in the Hispanic media are immigrants. We are the children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren of immigrants. Our brothers and sisters are immigrants. Our readers and clients, our neighbors and friends, and our co-workers are immigrants.

To us, an America without immigrants is unimaginable: an empty page.

Today, May 1, and always, we support a dignified solution to the plight of undocumented immigrants.
