Mag's Best of Latino L.A.

creditTu Ciudad's June-July issue features an interview with Corina Villaraigosa, a report from the set of Jack Black’s Nacho Libre and the magazine's first Best of Latino L.A. guide. Magazine Best-of's can be tedious affairs, but this at least has a fresh angle. Almost a hundred ratings include best margarita, taco stand, coffee stand, Cuban bakery/deli, art gallery and wine bar. There's also a best blog—La Bloga—that happily accepts the title despite being just three-fifths Angeleno. The issue marks a year since Tu Ciudad debuted, so a copy of the magazine will get you some free lunch goodies on Friday at Loteria Grill in Farmers Market ("Best Mexican Food in Los Angeles") and a free happy hour taco at Ciudad on Figueroa ("Best Happy Hour.")
