Topless backstory

Channel 4 reporter Cary Berglund discusses his coverage of the topless USC professor, in a video report on the KNBC website and an exchange with David Markland at Blogging.la. Meanwhile, Cardinal Martini and other conservative blogs keep hammering the prof, Diana York Blaine, apparently because she's a vocal feminist and they think she said all men at USC are rapists. What she actually said, in response to incidents around campus, is that "I hold every single male on this campus responsible because every single male on this campus has the responsibility for stopping rape.... Because they all rape? Of course not. But because only men rape and only men can stop other men from raping."
