Copley exploring sale of Breeze

Copley Press Inc. of San Diego says it is "exploring strategic alternatives" that could include selling the Daily Breeze, Palos Verdes Peninsula News and The Beach Reporter. Not just talk—the company has hired Evercore Partners, a merchant bank with experience in the media industry, to help evaluate strategic options, according to a story on the Breeze website. Copley shut down the Santa Monica Outlook way back when.
